THE PROJECT
Baked Sessions is a platform championing DJs, emerging talent and underground music culture. The project marked the launch of Baked Afters, their new podcast studio and creative space, transforming an ordinary office into a trippy, hippie sanctuary designed for conversations, music and content. I built the space entirely from second-hand finds, reclaimed materials and handmade elements, creating a layered world full of character and unexpected details.

Before & After
The whole world was created for under £1.5k, almost entirely through second-hand sourcing, upcycling and improvisation. This is my favourite way of designing: starting with an idea, then letting the world evolve through the objects and materials I find.
BUILDING THE WORLD
I made a beaded curtain from second-hand jewellery hung from sticks I found outside, suspended a ladder from the ceiling and filled it with plants, lights and collected trinkets, and built furniture from pallets and reclaimed sofa cushions. The walls became layers of photographs, artwork, objects and memories, with magnifying glasses attached to extendable cables encouraging people to explore all the tiny details.
